ABOUT
Ashleigh writes what she loves to read: complex and deliciously imperfect female characters. Her work often explores the nuances of what it means to be a woman—themes like identity, self-discovery and feminine rage tend to weave their way into her words. While her stories lean toward horror, thriller and suspense, she has a special fondness for “weird girl” literary fiction and the occasional romance.
As a career copywriter and creative director, she spent nearly 20 years schilling words for corporate America before she decided to reclaim her passion for fiction. She encourages other writers to not wait that damn long as often as she can.
Ashleigh lives in Dallas, TX with her husband and 14-year-old lab rescue Alice. She is currently working on a novella in flash and a contemporary upmarket thriller novel.
